Touch is a Two Way Benefit
Human touch is a powerful connection. Think back to days of infatuation and longing when the object of your desire drove you to attempt some type of physical connection. You held hands or embraced kissed and the biggest charge feeling your bodies close hungry touch.
Well what happened to all that excitement? Oh you got married and it stopped you had kids and it stopped. You fight all the time now and you’ve lost that feeling like the songs say. Well there is good news and other news. The good is you can get some of it back.The challenging news is you have to find a way to connect with touch right in the eye of the marital storm.
How do we do that Zev? Well here are two possibilities. If you really can’t muster the feeling or too mad and pissed . Just use an inexpensive plastic pronged massager and just make nice. Or as I discovered last week reach out and touch. G
ive a massage to your partner. Just focus on hands touching skin. I offered a massage and got an emphatic yes. As I was doing this back massage I realized how good it felt to just touch her back relieve some pain but it was the touch concentrated on Fingers hands to back. I got lost in the touch forgot about marriage tension and instead of being a caring and giving chore it turned out to be a wake-up call to me for the need for this kind of massage touch .
So whether its foreplay or just spontaneous touch there is something to get for the giver as well as the receiver. Human touch read up on it. Everybody needs it and responds to it in a special way. If your feeling pushed away you might offer a hand and what you get in return might just surprise the hell out of you.

It’s Thanksgiving 2015 The Raw Marriage TV Show Launches!
I have made good on my promise to offer loads of FREE content over the years. The Raw Marriage Podcast is on ITunes and I’ve updated my TV Show. These are two completely different shows with a huge amount of information. Anyway, I gave the TV Show a good tweaking and a new name.. Marriages are like that as well. You can update…. You can renovate……..and you can do it on top of the whatever the current state and status of your marriage is looking like today.
But let’s get back to Raw Marriage. The Raw Marriage Shows starts in the soupy funk of your married life. Think of it like for instance what we’re working in our marriages what we’re manufacturing. A married couple can be angry disappointed, loving, caring and intimate and this is what are marriages are made of..
It’s raw no kidding Zev, and as you know raw material can be fashioned to gem quality. I also know that’s optimistic with a sprinkle of “can do” attitude which marriage certainly can challenge. I know that it’s not such an easy task but I know you can tweak your marriage to a more mutual enterprise and life space.
So here is an offer of help, encouragement, perspective and insight. I invite you to step back from your marriage and watch the show with an open mind about you, your marriage and your life. You won’t be disappointed.

Shake It Off!
If your marriage is stuck in a rut or what could be called the unhappy status quo of marriage, the first step in making any moves to improve your situation always start with you. You can be bitter and angry lashing out at every opportunity fueled by a full tank of negativity. Many do that.
If your marriage is stuck in a rut or what could be called the unhappy status quo of marriage, the first step in making any moves to improve your situation always start with you. You can be bitter and angry lashing out at every opportunity fueled by a full tank of negativity. Many do that.
Projecting and wearing your bitterness….drowning in a soupy funk about the state of your relationship and what it ‘s not, never bodes well for you and sends a very usual status quo message to your partner to expect relationship business as usual . The right frame of mind better represents you and sends a message of business not as usual…. self -respect…personal integrity which are important relationship growth ingredients.
There are many way’s to shake off the sticky negative inertia, anger and frustration that accompany a stagnant unhappy marriage. Here is one idea I share with my clients that can get you some relief and clarity.
So imagine you are in an art class and painting style of the day is throw art. Take the paintbrush dip it in the paint and throw it against the canvas. Just throw that negative paint up against the canvass. Splatter it on the canvas Get it off of you and on to that canvas. Empty your jar of bitterness, anger and frustration.
Shake off the negative….get rid of the anger. Come on get into it…We all deserve some relief…..you deserve it…….. so cast the negativity out…… vanquish it even if relief lasts just for a few moments…it’s good to taste relief.
What do you see on the floor or canvas in front of you? You see the mess…… all that negative stuff you’ve been carrying around… what you’ve been projecting to your spouse. You see the way you’ve been feeling. You see what your spouse sees sticking to you… predictable… status quo negative stuff!
You see the obstacles that are blocking your ability to visualize and move towards a more collaborative and intimate space with your spouse.
Now that you have a clearer site of vision you’ll see and be open to other options and your spouse and others will see a different you.
